Footwear label Heydude has a “fully revamped brand identity to reach new and existing fans.” Crocs purchased the company for $2.5 billion last December and closed the deal in February 2022.
The refresh includes new logos, fonts and colors, with messaging and marketing meant to evoke “quirkiness and levity as relief from an all-too-often heavy world” that consists of the new tagline “Good to Go-To.”
Crocs said the updated identity came from dozens of focus groups the company conducted with consumers in the U.S., online forums and a comprehensive consumer segmentation study. It also collaborated with consumers who offered feedback on various aspects of positioning options.
“Our fans share an off-the-charts love for Heydude shoes. We’re going to honor that by continuing to make their favorites and introduce newness that lives up to that unparalleled Heydude feeling—the cushiest, comfiest, airiest, featheriest, lightest shoes off Earth,” said president Rick Blackshaw.
“As we kick off this next chapter of Heydude, we challenged ourselves to discover the soul of the brand and to express that in ways that celebrate our unbelievable fans and the product they love.”
