Helinox released its Chair Zero High-Back, weighing 1lb 8oz with a taller, sturdier back for neck and shoulder support that fits into a backpack.
In 2017, Helinox introduced the Chair Zero, an ultra-lightweight design offering comfort, packability, durability, and ease of setup/stow.
The Chair Zero High-Back is engineered for lightness, durability, strength and comfort. The frame is 7000 series aluminum made from DAC’s TH72M alloy, depended on by the leading tent manufacturers. Each pole is anodized for strength to support the weight of sitting.
Helinox has exclusive rights to use DAC alloy for outdoor furniture and accessories.
For the Chair Zero High-Back seat, Helinox uses 100D polyester and weaves in Aramid, a military-grade fiber known for its exceptional strength, to create a light ripstop fabric that withstands sun, grime, granite, and years of sitting. The hubs and joining components are molded with Helinox’s nylon resin, engineered for precise, solid and secure pole attachments.
“The Chair Zero and now the Chair Zero High-Back are the pinnacle of comfort for long hauls to remote locations,” said Azul Couzens, VP, sales and marketing, Helinox USA. “When you’re picking and choosing through every ounce to take along, what fits and what doesn’t, the Chair Zero High-Back packs a huge amount of comfort for minimal weight.”
The Chair Zero High-Back is available in Black and Gray. For more product information, go here.
