Head/Tyrolia has appointed Finn Eriksen to its U.S. marketing team as marketing coordinator.

With company sales nearly tripling over recent years, the need for additional marketing support became evident. In this newly created role as marketing coordinator for winter sports and sportswear, Eriksen will support both alpine equipment and Head’s newly established wintersports apparel division (HEAD Sportswear).

An alumnus of the University of Utah, Eriksen brings tremendous retail experience and a passion for ski fashion. The granddaughter of two-time Olympian Stein Eriksen, Eriksen herself boasts a strong skiing resumé as a former ski racer with Alyeska Ski Resort in Girdwood, AK, and as an Alta/Bird National Freeride competitor.

“We are thrilled to have Finn join our dynamic Boulder-based team,” said Jon Rucker, president of Head/Tyrolia, USA. “Finn’s industry experience and positive mindset make her perfect for this new, dual-marketing role. She is sure to add to our all-around success.”

Added Julia Couperthwait, business manager, sportswear/communications manager, wintersports, “We welcome Finn’s fresh perspective to the HEAD family. Her excellent organizational skills, her positive attitude, and her keen attention to detail, combined with her vibrant personality and enthusiasm for the snowsports industry, have already proven to be a tremendous asset to our marketing department across both divisions. With her help, we look forward to continuing to provide top-notch communication and support to Head’s specialty retailers.”

Eriksen said, “I am honored to be the newest member of the Head/Tyrolia marketing team. Given that sliding on snow has been an integral part of my family for generations, it is a dream come true for me to begin my professional career with a company so deeply steeped in tradition. You can’t tell the history of skiing without mentioning Head, and I look forward to contributing to company achievements that lie ahead.”

Eriksen will be based in the Head/Tyrolia U.S. Winter Sports headquarters in Boulder, CO.
