New Era Cap Co., Inc. named Steve Hazell to the position of VP of New Era Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Hazell, most recently at K-Swiss, will lead all marketing, sales and distribution efforts in the region.
He reports to New Era's President, Peter Augustine located at the company's world headquarters in Buffalo, NY.
Hazell will provide strategic guidance to strengthen New Era's presence throughout the region while growing the EMEA business by creating a stronger position in key EMEA markets. With a talented leadership team and a focus on quality, the strategy creates opportunities in e-Commerce, retail, flagship stores, apparel & accessories and other initiatives.
Before joining New Era, Hazell held key leadership roles with other well-known apparel and footwear brands. Most recently at K-Swiss, as General Manager for Europe, Hazell had overall responsibility for strategic business planning, growth and development, P & L, marketing and much more. Prior to that, Hazell had similar responsibilities as General Manager Retail at GSM focusing on the Billabong, Element and Nixon brands.
