Gregory Mountain Products announced the hiring of Jake Martin as Marketing Coordinator for the brand. In this newly created position Jake will be responsible for public relations, market research, project coordination, and copywriting. “Jake is a super passionate climber and outdoor athlete and will be a huge asset to us as we continue to grow the brand in new directions”, says Paul Gagner, VP Sales and Marketing. “I decided to create this position to help us do an even better job of understanding our current customers, and future customers. Jake will be a key player with our product group to help us fine tune our products to satisfy the demands of an ever more sophistiucated customer”, continued Gagner.
Gregory is also pleased to announce the hiring of Allan Fici and Jackie Ankerson of Manitou Trading Co. to represent the brand in the Upper Midwest – East Lakes territory. Allan and Jackie will be replacing Eric Haberman's Mountain High Sales and Marketing. “All of us here at Gregory, and especially myself, would like to thank Eric, Marcia and Joshua for several years of hard work on behalf of the brand and wish them much success in their future endeavors”, says Gagner.
Allan and Jackie have taken over representation of the brand in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky effective June 1, 2004; they also represent Montrail, Cloudveil, Suunto and Chako Sandals. “I am excited to hire someone who is super passionate about the outdoors and business. After speaking to quite a few retailers during the hiring process the level of service, knowledge, and communication coming from Allan and Jackie convinced me that they are a perfect match for Gregory”, continued Gagner.
