Gravis and Turntable Lab have collaborated to create DJ bags that will be sold exclusively through Turntable Lab's New York and Los Angeles boutiques and the company's website.
The collaboration started when Gravis was in the conceptual stages of development to create a premier DJ bag that would provide next-level storage, function and durability matched with innovative style. Collaboration meetings were held in New York City and prototype bags were tested by DJs from both Gravis' and TTL's crews to ensure perfection.
“Turntable Lab is known as the first name in the world of deejaying, so it was an easy choice to collaborate on ideas with them that bring these bags to the level we're looking for,” says Product Marketing Director, Anne-Marie Dacyshyn.
“We've always respected Gravis for their top designs and top quality. And since we saw a need in the market, we thought this was a perfect opportunity,” says Turntable Lab Creative Director, Peter Hahn.
To help represent the bags, the collaboration is backed by two of Turntable Lab's close friends and top DJs – Mark Ronson and Blu Jemz. They will appear in ads in Fader, Vice, RE:UP and Vapors and will be using the bags at all their upcoming gigs.
