Golfsmith has inked an exclusive partnership with PGA Teaching Professional Hank Haney to create a line of golf training aids.
Best known as the coach to the world's top ranked golfer, Tiger Woods, Haney will collaborate with Golfsmith on the development of a product line that will be sold nationally in 2007 exclusively through Golfsmith's stores, catalogs and website.
“I'm proud to be associated with Golfsmith, and to have my signature on a new line of products that will help all types of golfers play better golf,” said Haney.
“Our partnership with Hank is yet another way Golfsmith is providing exceptional services and solutions to golfers of all skill levels,” said Jim Thompson, Golfsmith's president and CEO. “These products will give golfers access to Hank's teachings, which otherwise would be reserved for the world's top professionals.”
Hank was voted PGA Teacher of the Year in 2003. A resident of Dallas, he has taught more than 200 touring professionals from the PGA, LPGA, Nationwide, Futures, European, Japanese, and Asian tours. His students have won every major tournament in professional and amateur golf.
He is a member of the advisory staff for Golf Digest Magazine and Dean of Instruction of the ESPN Golf Schools.
