Golf rounds played jumped 56.6 percent for the month of November and are now up 13.1 percent in the year-to-date period, according to Golf Datatech.
By region, for November, the highest growth was seen in East North Central, up 322.1 percent; followed by New England, ahead 165.2 percent; Mid-Atlantic, 149.9 percent; West North Central, 137.0 percent; South Central, 58.2 percent; Pacific, 20.5 percent; Mountain, 20.4 percent; and South Atlantic, 19.1 percent.
Golf rounds played have recovered strongly following the reopening of golf courses across the country starting in May. According to Golf Datatech, golf rounds played grew 6.2 percent in May, 13.9 percent in June; 19.7 percent in July; 20.6 percent in August, 25.5 percent for September, and 32.2 percent for October.
