According to Golf Datatech, golf rounds played in the U.S. were flat in June, held back by a steep decline in the South Central region. Year to date, golf rounds played are down 1.0 percent.

Rounds played in June in the South Central region fell 6.9 percent. Only the Mid-Atlantic, down 3.8 percent, also showed a decline during the month. The top gain was seen in the Mountain region, up 4.2 percent; followed by West North Central, 3.3 percent; Pacific, 2.1 percent; New England, 1.7  percent; South-Atlantic, 0.6 percent; and East North Central, 0.3 percent.
