Golf Datatech estimated golf rounds on a national level were up 2.6 percent in November.
Public access play was up 3.3 percent and private course activity was up 0.6 percent. There were 3810 contributing golf courses used in this report.
Among the regions showing gains were West North Central, 26.7 percent; Mountain, 20.5 percent; South Central, 14.6 percent; East North Central, 3.3 percent; and Pacific, 1.1 percent. Regions showing declines in rounds played include Mid Atlantic, sliding 30.8 percent; New England, 17.9 percent; and South Atlantic, 1.9 percent.
