Same-store golf rounds in the U.S. were down 3.8% in November 2007 vs. November 2006, bringing the year-to-date total to level with last year, according to NGF/Allied Golf Associations. In some regions (e.g., the Midwest) where there is very little rounds volume in the month of November, there were some large variances, but these have little effect on the year overall. Year-to-date, the best-performing region compared to last year has been the Northeast, and the South Central the worst.
