The tool manufacturer, Gerber Gear, released its Assert Folding Knife, designed and made in Portland, OR at its zero-waste facility.
With a pivot lock and small footprint, Gerber’s Assert folding knife weighs under two ounces and features an S30V plain-edge blade, ambidextrous pivot lock and clip, adjustable thumb stud, deep carry pocket clip, single-handed deployment, textured grip with a honeycomb interior. The overall length is 6.05 inches, the closed length is 3.97 inches and blade length at 2.98 inches.
“The Assert is an outstanding example of the quality and craftsmanship of the products being built right here in our Portland factory,” said Keith Carrato, vice president/GM of Gerber Gear. “Designed to be compact, comfortable in hand and most of all easy to use, it is the perfect pocket-knife to carry on adventures this summer and beyond.”
The Assert is available in three stock colors and a customizable option where customers can choose their colors and materials and add laser marks from Gerber’s library of illustrations and patterns. The Assert Folder Knife and all Gerber custom products are manufactured and assembled by hand in-house and backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
