Global Brand Marketing Inc., the majority owner of Pony, owner of Dry-shoD and FunFlopps brands, retail store chain Global Feet, and authorized global footwear licensee of Diesel, XOXO, Nautica, Doggie Biscuitz by Snoop Dogg and Mecca, is pleased to announce two internal promotions in its US Sales Divisions. John Strong, Director of the GBMI Kids US Sales Division, and Scott Kaminsky, Director of US Sales for XOXO Footwear have been promoted to Vice President of Sales for their respective departments. Both promotions acknowledge successful efforts in building the GBMI Kids and XOXO Footwear US Sales divisions of GBMI. Strong and Kaminsky report to Larry Slivka, Senior Vice President of US Sales.

As Vice President of US Sales for GBMI Kids, Strong oversees the national sales team of kids footwear territory managers and is responsible for further developing and executing the children’s sales operations for GBMI. Strong brings over eighteen years of sales and account management experience to GBMI, specializing in the footwear industry. Previously, Strong was Director of Sales for Timberland Inc., in the kid’s footwear division. He has also held executive sales positions at Nike and Converse Inc.

Kaminsky, also a footwear industry veteran, brings over twenty years of sales and management experience to GBMI and has been an active resource for fashion trends, retail strategy and retail promotions. Kaminsky was previously Director of West Coast Sales for Nina Footwear, during which he increased wholesale volume by 125%. Kaminsky gained a wealth of brand building knowledge and experience as Co-President of Joyce-Selby Shoes and at Calico-Nine West Group, where he expanded his territory with 50 new accounts in one year. Kaminsky’s responsibilities include managing XOXO’s domestic revenue growth and overseeing the XOXO Footwear US Sales Team.
