Global Brand Marketing Inc. has appointed Mike Balzer as director of sales for NOMASS, and Rob Burrus as director of sales for the GBMI Kids division.

Balzer will oversee the expansion of NOMASS into department stores, independents and online distribution. He joined GBMI in 2002 as a Key Account Manager, Northwest Territory for all of GBMI’s brands and has been instrumental in building a successful platform with his management of the Nordstrom’s business. Prior to joining GBMI, Balzer held senior sales positions at HH Brown/Born Footwear, Dr. Martens AirWair USA, and Nordstrom.


Burrus will be responsible for further developing and executing the children’s US sales operations for GBMI. Burrus joined GBMI in 2002 as the National Sales Director for Nautica. Burrus has held several senior level sales positions throughout his career, including General Manager of Camper/Inca USA as well as a successful tenure at Dr. Martens where he headed up the kids division in the Central Region. Previous companies also include Nine West Group, Esprit, and Brown Shoe Company, Inc. 


Both sales executives will each have a sales force for their respective divisions and will be reporting to Scott Home, senior vice president of U.S. sales.
