Gap Inc. has opened its first location for Hill City, its men’s activewear brand. The 12-month pop-up, located at 522 Octavia Street.
“The space is thoughtfully curated based on best sellers and is meant to test the operations of a physical space and engage with the community with local events,” wrote Chris Cooney, Gap Inc. Communications, in a blog entry updating Hill City’s first year in operation.
The post also noted that Hill City merchandise will be selling at wholesale accounts for the first time, reaching Huckberry.com, Need Supply, Neighborhood Goods and Ships (in Toyko). A capsule collection will also soon be available in seven Athleta stores and at A Runner’s Mind.
In addition, a Hill City truck is hitting the streets of San Francisco. The mobile shop-in-a-truck will allows customers to touch, feel and purchase product in person.xx
