Turner Media Group inked an agreement with Gander Mountain Company to launch Gander Mountain Lodge, the first nationally televised weekly transactional program offering hunting, fishing and outdoor products for sale to viewers and incorporating interactive trigger ads for iTV-enabled homes. Starting September 2006, Gander Mountain Lodge will broadcast a new episode to Men’s Outdoors & Recreation TV viewers each Monday with a repeat on Sunday.
Gander Mountain is the nation’s largest retail network of stores for hunting, fishing, camping, marine and outdoor lifestyle products and services. Gander Mountain Lodge is an hour-long program featuring entertaining hosts and professional hunting guides who demonstrate approximately 15 products available for immediate purchase by viewers using TMG’s signature transactional TV programming. In addition, viewers in iTV-enabled homes will be shown 30-second tune-in spots that enable them to use their remote to click a trigger, or on-screen prompt, and instantly be tuned to the Gander Mountain Lodge show on MOR.
