Front Runner, the Overlanding and camping equipment manufacturer, launched the Slimpro Van Rack system with more entry points and a rack for camping to load-hauling.

Following the company’s acquisition by Dometic in May 2021, Front Runner is now part of the Dometic Group.

The Slimpro Van Rack is a collaborative design between the two brands, combining Dometic’s presence in the RV and van market and Front Runner’s roof rack design capabilities.

The Slimpro Van Rack follows in the footsteps of the Slimline II Roof Rack system for most vehicle types and the recently launched Slimsport Roof Rack for trucks and SUVs.

Thi Slimpro Van Rack is customizable with an adjustable slat system to accommodate most roof-mounted equipment and is compatible with most van sizes due to the adjustable foot rail, while the adjustable slat system offers rigidity and strength. Existing OEM mounting points install the foot rail without drilling and adapt to high and low-roof vans.

The rack is lightweight and low in profile but supports large loads. It is compatible with the following vehicles:

  • Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (2007 to 2022)
  • Ford Transit (2013 to 2022)
  • Ram Pro Master (2014 to 2022)
  • Citroen Jumper (2014 to 2022)
  • Fiat Ducato (2014 to 2022)
  • Peugeot Boxer (2014 to 2022)

The rack kits are available for different lengths and height options.

The Slimpro Van Rack offers crossbar slats and side profiles with T-slot channels, the same for Slimline II rack kits, to customize with most of the 55-plus top and side-mounted accessories from Front Runner. Expedition Rails can be installed on the sides, front or back to create a basket-style look and functionality.
