Front Runner Outfitters (Front Runner), the South African-based adventure travel gear company, launched its Slimsport Roof Rack system. The system provides an additional entry point in the Overlanding market, beginning with compatibility for five vehicle models.

Following the introduction of the brand’s Slimline II Roof Rack system, the Slimsport Roof Rack is for activity-focused drivers that do not require an expedition-grade build. The system offers minimal drag and noise by integrating the mounting feet into the side rails, creating a lower profile cross-slat, and includes a rubber-trimmed wind fairing. Available accessories include the 40-inch Lightbar Wind Fairing and Slimsport Side Mount Accessory Bracket.

The rack shares the same t-slot channels found on the slats of the Slimline II rack system for integration of the majority of Front Runner’s top-mounted rack accessories.

The rack system is compatible with:

  • Toyota Tacoma (2005-current)
  • 4Runner (2010-current)
  • Ford Ranger (2012-current)
  • F-150 Super Crew and Raptor 2018-2020
  • Raptor (2009-current)
  • Subaru Crosstrek XV (2017-current)
