Footwear Specialties, Intl, parent company of Nautilus Safety Footwear, SkidBuster Shoes, and 3rd Watch Footwear, announced that it has hired Dave Bartels as its new Western Regional V.P. of Sales. He will be responsible for the western region, and will manage the sales force and key accounts.
“Were delighted to have Dave on board with us,” said Wayne Elsey, President and CEO of FSI. “A long time Nike Veteran, with over 23 years experience, he was honored as the Sales Rep of the year on several occasions. In addition, he was a member of the Nike National Sales Team in 1990 and 2000. His established sales record is remarkable, and were thrilled to have his experience.”
Bartels, who will start his new position March 2, said he is excited to be a part of a small but on-the-move company. “Im looking forward to get making a difference to the bottom line in a refreshing new environment,” remarked Bartels. “I can feel in my heart by the warm reception by the people at FSI that I am in the right place.”
