Last month, despite the cold, the dark, and the winter drear, more than 11,000 runners across 98 Fleet Feet store locations that covered a combined 942,000 miles shared their progress on social with over 2,500 Instagram posts with the #WinterDozenChallenge hashtag.

To participate, individuals were directed to Fleet Feet’s website where they designated their home store and connected a fitness app or wearable. Once signed up, individuals headed out on 12 runs or walks of at least one mile. The leaderboards (individuals and stores) were updated in real-time by FitRankings. The Fleet Feet location with the most challenge finishers received a Saucony celebration party.
