Fleet Feet Sports landed at 90 and Pro Image Sports at 110 on Entrepreneur magazine’s 2018 Franchise 500 list of the nation’s top franchise opportunities.
Among other retailers in the active space, Play It Again Sports landed at 247; Destination Athlete, 304 and Good Feet Worldwide, 423.
Many fitness clubs and niche organizations promoting exercise for kids made the list. These include Planet Fitness, 21; Orangetheory Fitness, 48; Jazzercise, 63; Crunch Franchise, 216; Soccer Shots Franchising, 267; Skyhawks Sports & Supertots Sports Academy, 284; SwimLabs Swim School, 301; Snap Fitness, 348; Fit Body Boot, 350; Workout Anytime, 394; UFC Gym, 397; TGA Premier Youth Tennis, 403 and GymGuy, 470.
The top ten franchises were McDonald’s, 7-Eleven, Dunkin’ Donuts, The UPS Store, RE/MAX, Sonic Drive-In Restaurants, Great Clips, Taco Bell, Hardee’s and Sport Clips.
