Fjallraven has been sued by the landlord of its store in downtown Boulder, CO for not paying rent from April through August.
The landlord, Ten Eleven Pearl LLC, of the store at 1048 Pearl Street claims Fjallraven owes a total of about $127,000, according to the lawsuit filed August 28 in Boulder County District Court,.
“Due to the developments around COVID-19, Ten Eleven waived certain late fees and interest for late payment under the lease but reserved all of its rights and remedies under the lease,” the lawsuit read. “Ten Eleven did not waive any of Fjallraven’s other obligations under the lease, and the lease remains in full force and effect.”
Fjallraven signed a seven-year lease agreement in 2016. Monthly base rent is $17,752 plus more than $7,500 in additional monthly charges, according to the lawsuit.
Fjallraven has not responded to the lawsuit.
