Leatherman’s Signal Multitool packs a firestarter, hammer, one-handed blade and an emergency whistle, among its 19 included tools.
Weighing 0.5 pounds, with a primary blade length of 2.73 inches, the Leatherman Signal can help your chances of survival in the outdoors if you’re in an emergency and need to create shelter, start a fire or need help getting found.
The Signal multitool offers 19 tools, including a large blade, a tough saw and a hammer, a ferrocerium fire rod starter, which can create hot sparks, and loud safety whistle, which, if in distress or injured, can be heard for miles (in the right conditions).
The Leatherman Signal can clip to a pack or a belt loop with its built-in carabiner and has tools for prepping kindling, fish hooks or dinner.
The Signal is not relegated to oudoor use only. With its locking blade, it’s suitable for home, office or on-the-job use, in multiple colorways. The Signal also comes with a blade sharpener and is backed by Leatherman’s 25-year warranty.
