The Finish Line, Inc. has appointed Sally McKelvey vice president, strategy for the Finish Line brand. McKelvey previously served as senior director, operations, financial planning and analysis, at 7-Eleven, Inc.

She was promoted to that role after nine years of progressively increasing responsibilities with the Dallas convenience store chain. In 2009, McKelvey was named servant leader of the year at 7-Eleven.

Before her time at 7-Eleven, McKelvey worked for six years in audit and strategy consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Accenture. She also spent 12 years in the energy field with Progress Energy and WGL Holdings.

“Sally's talent for critical thinking will be valuable in her new role with Finish Line,” said Steve Schneider, President and Chief Operating Officer. “She will be a key member of our leadership team, with the role of leading the evaluation, development and implementation of strategic growth initiatives for the Finish Line brand. Sally will analyze, recommend and implement programs that will provide growth opportunities, increase operational productivity and enhance profitability for our company. McKelvey is a CPA and earned a bachelor’s degree, with a major in Accounting, from Grove City College in Pennsylvania and an MBA from George Mason University in Virginia.
