Sock brand Feetures is expanding its sales department with the promotion of Steve Hallinan to be the new national sales manager of footwear specialty.
Hallinan, who is based in Los Angeles and was previously the western region sales manager for Feetures, will focus his efforts on maintaining and developing new relationships with independent footwear specialty shops. Dan Gardner will continue to be Feetures’ national sales manager for run specialty.
Since the Everyday collection debuted in 2017, Feetures has increased its focus on the footwear specialty channel. Building on its leading position in run specialty, the family-owned and operated company is partnering with leading footwear specialty stores to help them grow the sock category through in-store grassroots events such as the Fall ’19 #TreatYourFeet pop-up campaign (a sales rep-hosted event designed to have customers try on a better performing crew sock).
“To elevate our efforts in the Independent Footwear Channel, we’ve decided to have a designated footwear specialty sales manager,” said Hugh Gaither, CEO and founder of Feetures. “With Steve’s proven enthusiasm and efforts as our western region sales manager, we know that he’ll be extremely successful leading in this new position.”
