A circuit judge in Jacksonville, FL, issued a temporary injunction that won’t allow ’47 Brand to use information that is alleged to have been stolen from rival company Fanatics, according to a report from ESPN.
Due to Fanatic’s acquisition of Majestic Athletic in April 2017, Brad Leinbach joined Fanatics and was responsible for managing contract printing of the hot market business.
According to Judge Karen K. Cole’s injunction order, Leinbach began talking to ’47 about a job opportunity and secured a flash drive from Fanatics’ human resources director to transfer privileged, confidential and protected information to ’47. The order noted that Leinbach admitted to taking the documents, but he never offered to return them.
