Outdoor apparel brand ExOfficio announced it will open a retail concept store in JetBlue’s Terminal 5 (T5) at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) on Oct. 1, 2008.

ExOfficio has three additional stores in the greater Seattle area where the company is headquartered located in Bellevue at Lincoln Square, downtown Seattle, and the SeaTac International Airport.

“We are thrilled to open our doors and expose our brand to travelers at the busiest airport in the Northeast,” said Brady Miller, ExOfficio VP retail & marketing.  “JetBlue’s new T5 will accommodate 44,000 travelers a day, and with today’s passengers spending more time than ever in terminals, they depend on enjoyable shopping, good food and entertainment to pass the time.”

The 1,100-square-foot store will carry ventilated shirts and convertible pants, Insect Shield apparel and accessories, eco-friendly knits, sweaters and jackets, and ExOfficio’s recently launched footwear collection.  The store will also offer an assortment of out-of-the-ordinary books and travel accessories geared for packing less and doing more.
