BasicNet, the Turin, Italy-based parent of the Kappa, Robe di Kappa, K-Way, Superga, Briko Jesus Jeans, Sabelt, and Sebago brands, reported consolidated revenues of €409.2 million for the 2024 full year, a 3.1 percent increase compared to €396.8 million in 2023.
- Direct sales grew 4.2 percent to €346.8 million from €332.8 million in 2023
- Royalties from commercial and productive licensees amounted to €60.9 million for the year, a 2.2 percent decline from €62.3 million in 2023.
EBITDA was €61.1 million for the year, a 5.0 percent increase compared to EBITDA of €58.1 million in 2023.
EBIT amounted to €42.1 million in 2024, a 2.5 percent increase from EBIT of €41.1 million in 2023.
Net profit came in at €25.3 million in 2024, a 3.6 percent increase versus net profit of €24.4 million in 2023.
Net financial position with banks was negative €90.8 million at year-end, an improvement from the negative €92.6 million at December 31, 2023.
The company’s net financial position was €142.0 million at year-end, compared to negative €139.1 million at December 31, 2023.
The company’s Board of Directors also approved the 2024 separate financial statements of BasicNet S.p.A., which report a net profit of €8.0 million versus €20.1 million in 2023, which included the reversal of impairment losses on investments for €25.6 million).
The company said that, based on its order portfolio and the continued investment in enhancing the company’s brands, the Group expects to “continue on its development trajectory, further consolidating its market positioning.”
