Revo has launched Revo Australia, a new joint venture also known as Revo Eyewear APAC Pty Ltd.
Revo Australia will be led by industry veteran Richard Hoare who brings over 30 years of experience in the optical industry, including 16 years as VP of Maui Jim for the APAC region, where he oversaw sales and operations across six regional offices, including Australia, Hong Kong, Dubai, China, India, and South Africa.
“As Revo celebrates its 40th anniversary, we’re pleased to expand our footprint in the APAC region through this strategic joint venture,” said Cliff Robinson, CEO, Revo. “Australia is a key market for premium polarized sunglasses, with high demand for quality sunwear and a discerning customer base. By partnering with industry leaders like Richard, we’re positioning Revo to connect more closely with customers while expanding our reach across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader Pacific Rim markets.”
The company said the launch of Revo Australia comes at a pivotal time for the brand, as demand for premium polarized eyewear continues to grow.
This new entity will oversee all sales and customer care for the region, with a focus on establishing Revo as a top choice for consumers in Australia and Southeast Asia.
“I’m excited to be part of this joint venture and help bring Revo’s rich history and NASA-based lens technology to the APAC region,” said Richard Hoare, managing director, Revo Australia. “Revo customers are fiercely loyal, and we see immense opportunity for growth in this market and are eager to build on the passion that consumers already feel for the brand.”
The company said Australia’s preference for polarized sunglasses, combined with its strategic location as a gateway to Southeast Asia, makes it an ideal market for Revo’s continued growth.
“With a focus on performance, style, and sustainability, Revo Australia will ensure that customers across the region have access to the brand’s eyewear, known for its unmatched clarity and protection,” the company said.
