China Dongxiang Co., Ltd. reported that its Kappa-branded stores recorded a mid-single-digit decrease on a year-over-year basis for the fiscal third quarter ended December 31.
Same-store sales for the Kappa-branded stores, which have been in operation since the beginning of the same quarter last year, were down in high-single-digits on a year-over-year basis.
For the fiscal nine-month year-to-date (YTD) period, the Kappa-branded stores recorded a mid- to high-single-digit decrease on a year-over-year basis for the period ended December 31.
Same-store sales for the Kappa-branded stores were mid- to high-single-digit decrease year-over-year.
For the second quarter ended September 30, the company had 1,005 Kappa-branded stores, a net decrease of seven stores compared to those as at March 31, 2024 and a net increase of four stores since the end of fiscal second quarter.
China Dongxiang Co., Ltd. primarily designs, develops, markets, and sells branded sportswear in China. The company owns all rights to the Kappa brand in Mainland China and Macau.
China Dongxiang Co. has owned the Phenix ski brand since April 2008.
