Ex Officio recently broadened their sales team to brace for growth in 2004. Three openings in the Midwest, Rocky Mountain States, and Southern territories have made room for some new sales representatives to join the Ex-O team. In addition, two Divisional Sales Management roles have been carved out to further support the growth of Ex Officio in key product arenas.

Jean Jenick, an outdoor apparel veteran for the past 20 years, will be taking over the Midwest territory. The Rocky Mountain territory will be managed by Jen Mastro, who’s experience ranges from her years as a buyer for Neptune Mountaineering and Loveland Ski Shop. Mastro currently represents Horny Toad Activewear and Orage Skiwear in addition to Ex Officio. Cheryl Sternberg will head up Ex Officio’s Southern territory including Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Louisiana. Sternberg brings Ex Officio years of experience in the outdoor and ski apparel industry. Sternberg & Associates is an extremely respected rep force throughout the Southwest territory.

When asked why these particular reps were chosen Steve Bendzak, Ex Officio VP of Sales commented; “These three individuals have been selected for their expertise in dealer support, strength in women’s products, and knowledge of technical fabrications and designs. We are thrilled to have them on board and look forward to an exciting 2004 year.”

Additional changes include the development of two new internal Regional Sales Management roles. Mary Collins, a longtime veteran of Ex Officio with experience in the sales, marketing and product development departments will focus efforts on driving new product launches. Wendy Bretzel, a vital member of the sales support team for the past 1 and 1/2 years, will specialize in Ex Officio’s fast growing accessories collection. These divisional managers will be charged with supporting the growth of key product categories. Focus will be on building retailer turns, margins and ensuring the successful execution of Ex Officio sales programs.
