Everlast Worldwide Inc. named Adam Geisler as acting president of the company. The move follows last September's sale of Everlast to Brands Holdings, a subsidiary of U.K. retailer, Sports Direct. Former Everlast CEO and president Seth Horowitz has joined Modells Sporting Goods.
Geisler, 31, most recently carried the title of SVP of marketing at Everlast, overseeing consumer, sports and product marketing as well as public relations initiatives. Geisler has been with the brand for over seven years and as president, will continue to be a strong and active contributor in these divisions and further utilize his expertise in brand management and strategic planning.
At Modell's, Horowitz took over as VP-merchandise, advertising, marketing, planning and allocation, effective January 14. He reports to CEO and president, Mitchell Modell.
