Etnies and the BMX film RAD launched the RAD limited footwear and apparel collection to celebrate their respective 35 year anniversaries. Both brands debuted in 1986.
Etnies x RAD collection offers two shoe styles, four short-sleeve t-shirts, two long-sleeve t-shirts, a hooded sweatshirt, socks, and hats. In addition to their shared 1986 and BMX sports roots, both brands continue to be private, family-owned businesses.
The film RAD follows Cru Jones, a small-town kid, determined to win a BMX race set on a nearly impossible course known as Helltrack. A sleeper hit on its original release in the ’80s, RAD is a cult favorite among BMX professionals, spawning fan clubs and repertory film screenings.
