Equinox Holdings, Inc. added two new members to its executive leadership team—Matt Dunnigan as chief financial officer and Gretchen Koback Pursel as chief people officer.
Equinox is a U.S.-based luxury fitness company and health club headquartered in New York City. The company operates over 300 clubs in the U.S., London, Toronto, and Vancouver, Canada.
Dunnigan and Koback Pursel reportedly have strong resumes in international operations management. Their experience will help Equinox “execute long-term growth plans focused on enhancing employee and member experiences, improving operating performance and developing comprehensive strategies to elevate the brand further for its pipeline of over 25 new clubs in new and existing markets.
“2024 has been a transformative year for Equinox, and there are endless opportunities for growth ahead of us,” said Harvey Spevak, Executive Chairman, Managing Partner, Equinox Group. “Matt shares our vision for the future and will help build on the strong momentum we have created to drive our continued success.”
Dunnigan assumed the CFO role on October 22, reporting directly to Spevak. Koback Pursel will assume the position of chief people officer on December 2 and report to Marc Mastronardi.
