Epoch Lacrosse has signed on as an official sponsor with the Guardian National Championships. All of the goalies attending the combine/championship style event on July 29-31st at the Spooky Nook indoor sports facility (outside of Philadelphia, PA) will be receiving one of Epoch Lacrosse’s revolutionary lightweight carbon fiber Dragonfly R40 goalie shafts.
“Our event was created to give lacrosse goaltenders the best of everything from the highest level of evaluation/instruction and now the finest goalie shaft available,” said Ginny Capicchioni, Guardian National, founder/CEO. “It is a pleasure to partner with a company like Epoch that shares our mission of striving to be the best and changing the way lacrosse is played.”
The Dragonfly R40 shaft (40 inches) is engineered with real world feedback from some of the sports premier net minders. The R40’s extremely lightweight carbon fiber design combined with its relaxed concave geometry keeps the goalie hands loose and fast for stuffing attackmen in tight and stopping rips from the outside. The R40’s revolutionary design also features 3 zones of grip (smooth and tactile) enabling goalies to slide their hands effortlessly from a technically correct position for making saves to a throwing position for making frozen rope outlet passes.
“We are very happy to get onboard early with the Guardian National Championships and put our product into the hands of the nation’s best high school goalies,” said James Miceli, principal at Epoch Lacrosse. “Ginny has done an outstanding job of bringing together the best high school goalies in the country and giving them the opportunity to showcase their talents in an environment where they can be accurately and fairly evaluated.”
