ElliptiGo has appointed Bryce Whiting as its new CEO, effective immediately. Whiting, a long-time leader within the company, succeeds Bryan Pate, outgoing CEO and co-founder of ElliptiGo.

Whiting has been involved with ElliptiGo since its beginning, initially as a prototype tester and consultant, before officially joining the company as one of its first full-time employees in 2009.

“Over the years, he has led sales and marketing efforts and has been instrumental in navigating the company through growth and industry shifts,” the company said in a media release. “With Whiting at the helm, ElliptiGo looks forward to welcoming new riders into its enthusiastic community by offering low-impact, highly effective workout solutions that cater to a diverse range of people, from novice exercisers to competitive athletes.”

The company added that Whiting will usher in “ElliptiGO 2.0, a new era of innovation and expansion for the brand.”

“I’m incredibly grateful to Bryan Pate for his trust and leadership, and I’m excited to step into this role. ElliptiGO has an amazing team, a fanatical customer base and a life-changing product,” commented Whiting. “My focus is to build on that foundation by driving innovation, expanding our reach, and bringing the benefits of stand-up and elliptical cycling to even more people.”

“Leading ElliptiGO from an idea to a thriving company with more than 40,000 bikes on the road today has been the privilege of my lifetime, said Pate. “To be able to hand it over to someone as talented and capable as Bryce Whiting is truly the pinnacle of that experience. With Bryce at the helm, I have never been more optimistic about the future of ElliptiGO.”

Pate will continue to be involved with ElliptiGO as CEO of PT Motion Works, the parent company of ElliptiGo and Gibbon North America.
