The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation has announced a new alliance with NBFog Inc., a company that specializes in building outdoor brands. NBFog will help the nonprofit conservation organization with licensing agreements, sponsorship management and other marketing support.

The goal of the new alliance is leveraging the RMEF brand to generate additional funding for habitat conservation-and improve marketing benefits for RMEF's investing partners.

“We're looking forward to strengthening our relationship with our longtime corporate partners in the hunting and shooting sports industry, and we're eager to explore new opportunities in non-endemic markets,” said Steve Decker, vice president of marketing for RMEF. “NBFog, with its team of highly experienced senior executives from across the outdoor industry, is uniquely positioned to take us to that next level.”

Mike Callahan, CEO of NBFog, said, “The RMEF brand is one of the strongest in all of the outdoors, with powerful associations with land stewardship, hunting and real passion for traditional outdoor lifestyles. It's a brand poised for growth.”

NBFog will focus on building a broader, more extensive array of RMEF-licensed products, including non-endemic categories such as tools, trucks, beverages and more. Along with the additional royalties, other elements of the alliance include new initiatives to drive sponsorships, business relationships, membership and merchandising.
