Easton and the Golden Baseball League have reached a two-year agreement that designates Easton as the “Official Bat” of the GBL. The GBL will purchase and supply the Easton Professional Grade Stix model bats to all players. In addition, Easton will receive print, Web, and promotional advertising in GBL publications along with public address announcements promoting Eason bats at all GBL games. In exchange, Easton will provide sponsorship funds to the league, provide complimentary baseball equipment, and host an official Home Run Derby event with the famed Easton Bomb Squad during the GBL season.
Easton has agreed to a three-year deal with the Little League World Series, making Easton the official shoe of the event through 2009. The partnership, which kicks off June 1, 2006, brings together two staples of youth baseball and gives both partners an opportunity to further increase their involvement in the athletic development of Americas youth. As part of the agreement, Easton will provide Little League Baseball with cleats for players and coaches during the LLWS as well as for Little League Baseballs Urban Initiative.
