Outgoing Eagle Claw Fishing Tackle Chairman Lee McGill decided to step down from his role, effective April 9, naming Drew McGill as chairman of the Board of Directors from his most recent role as vice chairman. He is the fourth McGill to lead the company in its 99-year history.
Drew McGill has worked in the Denver, CO facility for over two decades, giving him a thorough understanding of the company’s day-to-day operations. His experience includes working in the operations, marketing, sales, and manufacturing departments. The company said he has demonstrated his leadership role over the last two years, taking on the responsibility of building a new facility in Cheyenne, WY.
“I am proud to continue my family’s legacy, and I realize I would not be here today without the great employees who have worked for us in the past and for those who currently work for us today,” Drew McGill said.
Lee McGill will reportedly remain on the Board of Directors and will assist Drew in taking on his new obligations.
