Dunham's Sports has signed a 50,500 square foot lease at Massillon Commons in Massillon, OH, according to Retail Properties of America, Inc.
Dunham's Sports is the Midwest's largest sporting goods chain with over 200 stores in 19 states.
Anchored by Home Depot, Massillon Commons is located on busy SR 172 and serves both the Massillon and Canton communities. “Although this center was hit hard by the economic downturn, it is now primed for rejuvenation and we have been actively marketing the center throughout the Region,” stated Greg Goldberg, vice president, leasing director, north region. Goldberg also added, “The addition of Dunham's Sports at Massillon Commons is a strong indicator of the revitalization in the overall trade area and we are excited to welcome them to the center.”
The space, previously occupied by a local grocery store, will be completely renovated by RPAI and Dunham's Sports in the upcoming months. The store is expected to open fall of 2015.
