Duluth Holdings, Inc. opened a new fulfillment center in Adairsville, GA—its fourth fulfillment center and the first to use automation and robotics.

The company said in a release that the facility “represents a significant strategic roadmap milestone, enabling Duluth Trading to better serve its customers by providing faster shipping times and supporting its footprint of retail stores nationwide.” 

Duluth Holdings reported that the facility would bring “hundreds of new jobs” in the Atlanta metro area.

“We are proud to open our first highly automated fulfillment center in Adairsville, GA and add hundreds of new jobs to the Atlanta area,” said Sam Sato, president and CEO. “This project was truly a collaborative effort across the talented individuals here at Duluth Trading as well as the invaluable contributions of external partners, local contractors and Bartow County leadership. As we see it, our investment in this facility is an investment in our customers. Our new Adairsville fulfillment center will enable us to improve customer experience and help us get products in the hands of our brand fans even faster.”
