The DRVR brand officially launched. It first collection is a series of headwear that includes the DRVR Pro-Tech line, featuring golf-specific details, tech fabrics and assorted stretch comfort fits, and the DRVR Street line, a fashion-forward assortment with a nod to the newer generation of crossover golfers who also engage in board, motor and team sports.
“After 18 months of development, product testing and market research, we are excited to bring a collection of truly innovative hats to market,” said founder Jade Howe. “The idea of DRVR came to me in a vision on my way home from my local track one day. It was so vivid, so clear, that I immediately sat down with pen to paper and formulated the entire concept. The combination of existing technical elements that we are using is what makes a DRVR hat truly unique. Industry leaders, retailers and, most importantly, golfers have given DRVR the nod of approval. The athletes involved in the product development phase have praised our attention to detail and obsession with fit, function and style.”
- Pro-Tech Series: DRVR uses technical stretch fabrics and user-friendly details in the Pro-Tech series, available in five styles, and in either a snapback or DRVRFlex with a slightly curved visor. DRVR’s back panel signature tee pocket frees up pocket clutter with easy access to the tee. The built-in magnetic ball marker, UV fiber coating and antimicrobial stretch fabrics protect the wearer from the elements.
- Street Series: Taking inspiration from pro athletes, sneakerheads and DRVR founder’s background in sports fashion. The Street Series uses a traditional baseball fit with higher crowns, flat or slightly curved visors and technical fabrics that meld street fashion with golf detailing. The stretch sweatband, in combination with stretch fabrics and an adjustable snapback closure, creates an adjustable hat.
DRVR guarantees that their hats will not crush or lose their shape, but if they do, customers can ship their hats back and the company will clean and re-shape them for free. If a hat cannot be restored, DRVR will replace it no questions asked and recycle the old hat responsibly, extending the life of the hat and/or reducing fast-fashion waste by keeping hats out of landfills or the ocean.
