Dr. Martens dropped a limited edition 1460 MIE Pascal Love Letter boot yesterday, April 1.

Sixty-five years ago, the iconic brand launched its 1460 boot. Dr. Martens’ enduring popularity stems from the boots durability, comfort, versatility, and iconic subcultural association.

Starting as a workwear boot, the 1460 has evolved as a symbol of rebellion and individuality, and continues to be a fashion staple today.

To celebrate the 65 anniversary of the 1460, the company has made 1460 pairs of this premium iteration, making it a collector’s item for Dr. Martens aficionados.

The 1460 MIE Pascal Love Letter boot pays homage to the legacy of Dr Marten’s famous silhouette, made at the brand’s factory in Wollaston, Northamptonshire, England, where it all began.

The boot is made of full-grain calf leather from Leeds-based tannery CF Stead. Its burgundy color comes from blending natural waxes and oils, offset with contrast stitching across the upper. Finishing details include a debossed 1.4.60 on the tongue, a debossed leather heel loop, antique gold eyelets, and tonal laces.

Exclusively available at drmartens.com and in selected Dr Martens stores globally.
