Japan-based camping brand DOD Outdoors has engaged Clear Creek Reps and White Fish Trading Company as its new sales reps covering the Rockies and Midwest regions. “Adding representation in these key markets will further strengthen DOD’s dedication to enhancing outdoor experiences with family and friends,” the company said in a media release.

Clear Creek Reps, an independent sales agency serving retailers and brands in the Rocky Mountains, will lead sales representation for DOD Outdoors in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and New Mexico. Principal Rep Owen Dennehy leads the agency and includes Associate Rep Rachael Walsh. The agency’s brand portfolio includes Topo Athletic, Eagle Creek, Ibex, Klean Kanteen, Primus, Aniiu, Outdoor Element, and Grip6.

“We are thrilled to partner with DOD Outdoors to offer their unique collection of camping gear to our retail partners and consumers,” commented Dennehy. “It was not hard to see the potential that DOD brings to the retail landscape. We are looking forward to being a part of the movement to bring cozy outside.”

Whitefish Trading Company, based in Minneapolis, MN, said its roots are in Southeast Asia. In 1992, as a college student, Bernie Reisberg began sourcing goods and services to help brands and retail partners. Since then, he and Michelle Reisberg have “built brands and growing retail distribution throughout the footwear, apparel and outdoor industry.” Whitefish Trading reportedly has over 50 years of experience working with retailers of all sizes across multiple channels of distribution.

“The Rockies and Midwest regions hold a massive untapped market of customers for DOD,” said Scott Duer, sales manager at DOD Outdoors. “We are thrilled to be working with two established outdoor industry sales groups, and this move is a critical step in our North American market expansion.”
