Dillard's, Inc. announced that sales for the four weeks ended Oct. 29, were $378.0 million compared to sales of $356.1 million a year  ago. Total sales increased 6 percent. Comparable store sales increased 8 percent.

During October, sales were consistent with the average total company
trend in the Central region, slightly below trend in the Eastern region
and below trend in the Western region. Sales in the home and furniture
category were significantly below trend.

Sales for the 13 weeks ended Oct. 29 were $1.36 billion compared to sales for the 13 weeks ended October 30, 2010 of $1.32 billion. Total sales increased 4 percent. Comparable store sales increased 5 percent for the 13 weeks ended October 29, 2011.

Sales for the 39 weeks ended October 29, 2011 were $4.25 billion compared $4.1 billion a year ago. Total sales increased 3 percent. Comparable store sales increased 4 percent for the 39 weeks ended Oct. 29, 2011.
