Diadora has dropped its trademark lawsuit against competitor Skechers U.S.A. Inc. without giving a reason, according to Bloomberg News. The closely held U.S. unit of Diadora SpA, last week voluntarily filed a notice of dismissal of the infringement case in federal court in Seattle.

Skechers was accused in the original Feb.12 complaint of copying a design on most Diadora shoes – a stylized “V'' turned on its side.
