The Developer will be the primary contact for all things involving the execution of Gravis footwear, softgoods and bag production. The Developer will be responsible for managing the product development process from 2D Design, to Prototype Sample, to finished commercialized product. They will work closely with Design to bring approved Marketing concepts to fruition against a set time-line.
The position requires a college degree and at least 2 years of experience in footwear development and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other fields of experience will also be considered. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate accurate and precise information is a necessity. A certain level of flexibility and understanding for the changing marketplace will benefit the Developers ability to be successful. Working knowledge of Excel and Word also recommended.
This position requires significant international travel, primarily to Asian Development offices.
