Deuter USA named Scott Park national sales manager and strengthened its team with extensive staff realignment and two new additions.
Park, a 20-year industry veteran, has been promoted from east coast sales manager to national sales manager for all territories. Park has been with Deuter more than six years, with previous experience as Trango’s national sales manager, hardgoods buyer at Mountain Sports in Boulder, CO and as a floor manager at Alpine Experience in Olympia, WA.
“Scott is ready to take on this responsibility, and I have full confidence that he will do a great job,” said Deuter USA President Bill Hartrampf. “His new position allows me to dedicate more of my time to the presidential duties necessary to grow and expand our business.”
To further support Park’s effort, the number of dealer service representatives has been increased from one to three. Dealer Service Rep James Fulton will be joined by two others, Jeff Sadler and Erin Swiatek, both promoted from within Deuter USA.
Marketing Manager Becky Marcelliano will receive additional support from new hire Jenny Fischer, who takes on the role of content coordinator. Fischer comes from an extensive background in the natural foods industry and looks forward to applying her skill set to a broad range of responsibilities at Deuter USA.
Another new hire, Iris Devlin – who comes to Deuter by way of Germany with a background in exercise physiology and snowsports – will fill the role of operations assistant and warranty coordinator, helping to streamline overall customer experience.
Former Operations Assistant Daniel Willis is promoted to sales coordinator, where he’ll assist the sales team in the areas of reporting, forecasting and tactical support. His experience in the outdoor industry spans from specialty retail with REI to customer service, analytics and reporting with GoLite.
