In the snowsports category, Deuter introduces the new Freerider 26, Freerider Pro 28SL for women, Freerider Pro 30 and Guide Tour 45+ backpacks. The Freerider 26 is a comfortable, versatile pack designed for easy ski and board transportation with quick access to your emergency equipment and stowable hipbelt for urban adventures. Both the Freerider Pro 28SL womens pack and Freerider Pro 30 provide easy carrying of your winter backcountry setup.

The ability to lash a snowboard, snowshoes or skis vertically to the front or carry skis as A-frame or diagonally, depending on your rig. The full back panel opening with heavy-duty zipper allows access to the main compartment while lashed-on gear prevents access from the front. A separate emergency pocket holds shovel, probe and essentials.

The Vari-Flex hipbelt system evenly distributes weight to the hips, providing freedom of movement and reducing fatigue. The Guide Tour 45+ is a top loading alpine pack that can be customized for mountaineering, climbing and skiing. Snowboards carry on front and skis can either slide through the 130mm slots for A-Frame or through a loop for diagonal carry.

The new Climber backpack is a true alpine backpack and best friend to children on adventures in wild country, while ski touring or climbing. This junior version integrates the revised features of the Guide Lite: It is robust and provides great comfort with the Alpine-Back carry system. Additionally, Deuter is introducing the Rope Bag and Chalk Bag II into the US market. These essentials work well in the trad, sport or gym arenas.
