Defender Mouthguard Laboratories reached an agreement to supply both both Duke and Bryant University’s men’s lacrosse teams with its Mouthguards for the 2010 NCAA season.
“As a lacrosse equipment manager, I am constantly seeking ways to limit the risk of potential injury without inhibiting the student-athlete’s ability to play the game at an elite level,” said Bob Weiseman, Game Operations Manager for Duke Athletics. “We went with Defender Mouthguards because we feel it provides the highest level of comfort and fit while providing the latest in technology to reduce the risk of concussion and dental injuries. I truly feel that by adding the Defender Mouthguard to our equipment inventory that our student-athletes are better prepared for the worst, while also providing them with a sense of security knowing that they are being protected at the same level at which they play.”
